We can offer a wide range of services:
Tree Removal
When a tree becomes unsafe due to storm damage or disease, it may be necessary for it to be removed. This can be done professionally and safely by one of our N.P.T.C. certified technicians.
Tree Pruning
This is done to encourage healthy growth by removing dead or diseased areas from an otherwise healthy tree. Incorrect pruning can be counter-productive and spoil the appearance, with our experience we can ensure are left healthy and looking as they should.
Crown Reduction
This is done to reduce the overall size of the tree and can be considered if you need to reduce the weight if it is becoming dangerous, or to reshape after storm damage or maybe just alter a tree than is unbalanced. This process also reduces the sall, which can cause trees to blow over.
Other circumstances could be to prevent obstruction and or damage of buildings or telephone cables. If power cables are involved you should contact SWEB who can carry out the work for you.
Crown Thinning
This is a technique used to remove unnecessary branches without altering the overall shape of the tree. The benefits of this are to improve the flow of air through and allow more light into the heart of the tree.
Apart from improving the tree’s structure it will also reduce the likelihood of pests developing.
Hedge Trimming
Large hedges can look wonderful if well maintained, but unruly if not. Allow us to get your hedge back into shape.
Hedge Laying
Were hedges have been left untrimmed, these can be layed to form a better, thicker hedge.
Stump Grinding
After a tree is removed the stump is usually left in the ground. These can remain in place for many years without causing any problems, though in some cases fungal disease can spread. If you wish to landscape a garden, erect a fence or complete some building works we can arrange removal for you.
Shredding
Often it can be more cost effecting and environmentally friendly to shred any green waste created.
Logging
With ever increasing energy costs, why not use the excess wood from the trees we have worked on to fuel your Woodburner, Stove or Aga. We can cut logs to your specific requirements for convenient storage and burning.
